Silverton Area Community Aid improves lives by distributing nutritious food to those facing food insecurity, preventing hunger in the Silverton community. SACA also provides financial aid for housing, utilities, fuel, transportation, and other needs to individuals and families within the boundaries of the Silver Falls School District. In addition, SACA offers access to community services and hosts a mobile dental clinic 3-6 times per year where local dentists treat patients with urgent dental needs and no insurance.
