Program areas at Sister Schools
Seven local schools participated in the Sister Schools donation program collecting 1,183 boxes and 8 bales with over 26,611 pounds of scholastic materials. The donated items were delivered to 14 schools in Uganda.
A Literacy Coordinator conducted workshops for the purposes of training seven librarians on effective literacy pedagogy, participatory teaching methods, and library management. These workshops took place once per trimester and were approximately two hours in length.
Sister Schools continued to provide educational funds to scholarship students so that they could continue their education and thereby have better career opportunities when they graduate.
