The Sixth District Appellate Program (sdap), a non-profit corporation, provides the highest quality legal assistance to indigent appellants and respondents who are appointed counsel by the California court of appeal, Sixth Appellate District. We assist by way of direct representation by in-house staff attorneys or by supervising and assisting a member of our private counsel panel. We also recommend private counsel on cases in which our office has a conflict of interest. Approximately 424 individuals served.
