Program areas at Sixth District Omega Psi Phi Fraternity
Each year the Sixth District holds its week-long boys camp for boys ages 8-14. Each chapter is required to send at least one (1) boy from its repsective geographical area. The camp is usually a culmination of a year-long mentoring program from each area. The camp focuses on many issues including mentoring, anger management, conflict resolution and healthy lifestyles.
The District's talent hunt program provides exposure, encouragement and financial assistance to talented young people particpating in the performing arts.
Each year the Sixth District awards scholarships to both Fraternity members and citizens in the community. In the Fraternity, the scholarship program promotes academic excellence among the undergraduate members. Graduate chapters provide financial assistance to student members and non-members.
