SKID ROW HOUSING TRUST ENGAGES IN THE DEVELOPMENT, MANAGEMENT, SUPPORT, ADMINISTRATION, AND RENTAL ACTIVITIES THAT ARE DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE PROVISION OF LOW INCOME HOUSING TO INDIVIDUALs with special needs.
The Trust, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Restorative Neighborhood Resources, LLC (RNR), acquires, manages and resolves distressed residential mortgage loans and owned real estate in the service of ensuring housing retention and housing opportunities across diverse communities in the nation.In recent years, sellers of distressed mortgage assets, including HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac have designated portfolios for sale specifically to qualified, Non-Profit, 501c3 organizations. Through, RNR, and the establishment of Special Purpose Joint Ventures with capital Investors and specialty service provider relationships, the Trust will proactively pursue these opportunities with focused outcome goals:1. Provide workout solutions with Borrowers aimed at home retention or transition to affordable rental housing,2. Enable affordable purchase opportunities of vacant properties directly to newhomeowners,3. Promote homeownership as a vehicle for financial stability and wealth building, including the ability to identify new homeowners that can initiate generational wealth for their families and their futures,4. Increase the likelihood that Individuals, Families and Communities have a stronger connection and ability to prosper.
