Sloatsburg Public Library

The Sloatsburg Public Library is committed to providing popular materials, in all formats, to all ages. We seek to encourage children and young adults to develop a lifelong interest in reading and learning by providing a variety of recreational and educational materials. We will further offer programming to all ages and make our facilities available to meet perceived community interests and to stimulate interest in the Library. Our purpose is to provide timely and accurate information, to our community residents in their pursuit of business, educational and personal interests.The role of the Sloatsburg Library is to continue to anticipate the needs of our community. We:offer high-interest, high-demand materials in a variety of formats, including audio-visual and online digital media.encourage young children and young adults to develop an interest in reading and learning through services for children and for parents and children together.provide timely and accurate information for community residents in their pursuit of business, educational, and leisure interests.serve as a focal point for community activities, meetings and services.work cooperatively with many groups for the betterment of the community
