Research and Strategy- SEPA provides essential research, resources, and tools to support utilities and energy industry stakeholders in making informed decisions. Our goal is to help them navigate the unique challenges of today and prepare for the complexities of tomorrow.
Education and Outreach - SEPA conducts surveys to gather insights from utilities and industry stakeholders. Based on these surveys, SEPA produces market intelligence reports, providing critical information to help stakeholders understand the impacts of energy sector transformation and develop roadmaps for success. This covers utility-scale and distributed energy resources, including solar, demand flexibility, energy storage, and the electrification of transportation, buildings, and industry. SEPA shares this information through public and member channels, offering education programs like onsite and virtual conferences, peer-to-peer learning, workshops, webinars, utility staff training, domestic and international fact-finding missions, and executive cohorts.
Member Services - SEPA connects a diverse community of members, including utilities, technology providers, industry leaders, regulators, large energy users, state energy offices, government entities, consumer advocates, academia, and nonprofits, to learn, engage, and share best practices. SEPA offers eight working groups where members collaborate on relevant issues and explore actionable solutions. Members also enjoy discounts on educational workshops, webinars, and expert-led courses covering the latest industry trends.
