Sepa produces tailored research, solutions and facilitation designed to help Electric utilities and other energy industry participants make informed business decisions and deal with the complex challenges facing their specific organization today and tomorrow.
Fee-based services - education and outreach - sepa provides Electric utilities and industry stakeholders with market, business, regulatory and technical intelligence on how the electricity sector transformation will affect them and help create a roadmap for future success. This includes utility scale and distributed energy resources including solar, ders, demand flexibility, energy storage and the electrification of transportation, buildings and industry sectors. Sepa delivers this information through a variety of public and member venues. Education programs include onsite and virtual conferences featuring peer-to-peer learning, workshops, webinars, utility staff training, domestic and international fact-finding missions and cohorts for industry executives.
Member services - sepa members are creating the future of the energy industry. The commitment to a carbon-free energy system is being embraced by stakeholders across the electricity sector. Utilities, technology providers, industry, regulators, large energy users, state energy offices, government, consumer advocates, academia and the nonprofit community all have a voice in this dynamic and changing energy sector. Sepa is an educational nonprofit that provides a unique and trusted platform to help our diverse membership with their Smart transition to a carbon-free energy system. Sepa does not lobby or take positions on issues. Instead we provide a platform for collaboration, unbiased information and the real discussions needed to move the industry forward.
