Smittys Midwest Boxing Gym and Youth Center

We have three good programs our leadership building program as put well over 175 kids in the military who have gone one to have good careers! Our drop outs from high school have went back at a 98.6% rate or completed a ged program over at ozark techinical community college numbers being our 160 kids or more over the last 13 years. We also have done great things in our anti-bullying program with the wbc program and taught so many kids how to be leaders instead of followers. Our professional speech classes have made it possihble for a lot of inner-city kids that do not have the courage to stand up and speak to get that courage and become effective speakers in the community and at school and beyond. We even have tutors and volunteers who help our kids find funding to go on to college. We demand a b average in school to compete in Boxing period. These progams are working and the numbers of success stories are rising each and every year! Child division services are now sending us kids from the juvenile justice system. Local schools are asking us to come do assemblys to talk to troubled kids. We are making a big difference even putting kids who have no wish to go to college into vocational school training if not the military.
