Program areas at SRAS

The Snake River Animal Shelter strives to honor our donors investment through fulfilling our mission and through making a deeper impact for the animals and the people who love them. The Snake River Animal Shelter's adoption program was able to serve 1,212 homeless and neglected animals. These animals were all given the necessary veterinary care, were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped through the services provided at the Snake River Animal Shelter. Of those animals 946 were united with new loving homes.
The Snake River Animal Shelter created the k-9 academy program. The purposes of the k-9 academy is to keep dogs in their home through basic and behavioral training as well as service and therapy dog training. They trained 398 community dogs and 32 Shelter dogs.
