Program areas at SNAP Sports

Ice Hockey Program- The SNAP ice hockey team currently consists of 24 athletes with special needs. The team has regular practices (weekly) and traveled to Ottawa, Canada and Mammoth Lakes, CA for tournament play during 2015. New players are outfited with appropriate safety equipment at no cost to the player.
SNAP Flag Football- The SNAP flag football team currently consists of 18 athletes with special needs. The team held regular practices and participated in two tournaments during 2015.
Developmental Ice Skating- SNAP currently has 44 athletes with special needs participating in the developmental ice skating program. Skate time is held weekly. During 2015, the program was able to obtain safety equipment that enabled the program to outfit 30 skaters per activity.
Other- SNAP Sports also has cheer and track teams for athletes with special needs. Eleven athletes participated in the cheer program during 2015, which included participation in two competitions. These programs had limited activity during 2015 and are expected to grow going forward.
