Program areas at Soap Project Save Our Adolescents From Prostitution
S.o.a.pSoap.a.p. Holds therapeutic retreats for survivors nationwide. In 2019, we had over 200 survivors apply and held 4 rehabilitative retreats. The retreats are free to survivors and all expenses are paid including transportation.
The Soap Project also utilized donations and grants to provide therapeutic services which include free monthly counseling and support groups at Our Michigan office. Energency assistance such as a washer and dryer for a survivor that is a grandmother raising her grandchildren, paying for auto repairs and medical bills for other survivors.
During 2019 the Soap Project held over 50 outreaches nationwide which resulted in saving countless victims of human trafficking. Our largest outreach each year is at the super bowl in which over 500 volunteers labeled soaps and visited over 400 hotels in atlanta. S.o.a.pSoap.a.p. And it's volunteers labeled over 300,000 bars of Soap in 2019.
Rescue victims of sex trafficking. Helps victims return to a normal life. Finally, we are proud to hold an annual liberator awards gala to celebrate others working hard in the field of fighting human trafficking. In 2019,this included people in Michigan and Ohio. It has become an event for survivors to meet those who fight for them and for the advocates to receive encouragement to keep up the hard work.
