In 2023, the Sobriety Foundation was able to provide 277 sober living scholarships. Each of these scholarships is meaningful as it represents an individual who isworking diligently to engage in recovery services and take steps to improve their lives and have a positive impact on the broader community.100% of scholarship recipients reported that the peer support system in sober living helped them maintain sobriety.100% of scholarship recipients reported that Alcoholics and/or Narcotics Anonymousmeetings helped them with sober living. 90% of scholarship recipients find jobs within two months.
Our annual Teetotaler Speakeasy event was held on October 13, 2023 in Salt Lake City and saw significant growth. With 320 individuals in attendance, Sobriety Foundationraised more than $173,812.
The Sobriety Foundation was able to help multiple individuals during the year that suffered from the disease of addiction. 80% of Sobriety Foundation's recipients are sober and living a long-term sustainable life from the disease of addiction.
