Social Inquiry

Research: conducted in-depth qualitative and quantitative Social science research on four main thematic topics in iraq and most recently sudan linked to conflict, internal displacement crises, and environmental degradation in these countries. These topics include: Social cohesion and fragility, transitional justice and reconciliation, post-conflict political economy, and climate and the environment. This research serves to advise policy and programmatic interventions within humanitarian, recovery, and peacebuilding sectors. Key stakeholders of this research include un agencies, international donor governments, national authorities, and international and national civil society organizations. This year, Social Inquiry, Inc. Engaged in 6 large-scale research studies, finished implementing (continued on schedule o) 2 projects from the previous year, and presented findings and policy recommendations in international forums and working groups.
