Description
Social Justice Clinical Pastoral Education integrates theology into the practice of ministry through a 3-semester program that operates with 7-8 students in each semester. The program requires each student to work 300 hours in a nonprofit site and one day per week inside the prison. All students receive pastoral care training, and it is a Masters level graduate education. Twelve of the students are inmates at MN Correctional Facility at Stillwater MN, making it an even more unique program. Classes are conducted inside the Maximum Security Prison located in Elko, MN.
