Program areas at Society for International Development United States of America Chapter
Annual events: the Society holds several annual events, including career fairs, an annual dinner and an annual conference. Members and nonmembers can participate either via individual tickets or sponsorships. The career fairs are mostly virtual, the dinner is in-person and the conference is hybrid.
Workgroups and other events: the Society holds many smaller events throughout the year, most of which are free to attend. Some are open to the public and some are member-only. Most are virtual, some are hybrid and some are in-person.

Institutional members include nongovernmental organizations, private sector firms, bilateral and multilateral institutions, consulting firms, universities, and other organizations working in International Development. Membership provides access to closed events, remote event access, and discounts on paid events, as well as opportunities for visibility in newsletter and other media.
