Education - svs hosts an annual meeting and trade show to promote the study and research of Vascular diseases, define the role of Vascular Surgery, and standardize the methods of study. In addition, svs offers educational courses and programs to promote the study of Vascular diseases, expand knowledge of such diseases, and encourage growth in the field.
Publications - the journal of Vascular Surgery is dedicated to the science and art of Vascular Surgery and aims to be the premier international journal of medical endovascular and surgical care of Vascular diseases. The goal of the journal is to improve the management of patients with Vascular diseases by publishing relevant papers that report medical, surgical, and endovascular advances, test new hypotheses, and address current controversies.
Quality practice - sought improvement of patient safety and quality of health care delivery by providing web-based collection, aggregation, and analysis of clinical data.
Research - encourage the interest and development of investigators by providing a forum for collaboration and dissemination of advancements in outcomes, comparative effectiveness, clinical, translational, and basic science research.
