Annual meeting: the Society holds one annual conference for Research Administrators each year. The annual conference offers 5 days of educational programs, professional development and networking opportunities.
Membership: srai members enjoy exclusive access to a community of peers as well as experts in the field, and discounts on educational programming, career resources and conferences. Member benefits also include monthly virtual coffee talks, a robust online connect community, access to awards and recognition programs, and mentoring and volunteering opportunities.
Education and professional development: in addition to the annual meeting, regional and local meetings, the Society holds a number of educational programs and webinars for the general benefit of members. These programs include a basics of Research administration course, pre-award, post-award and leadership intensive trainings.virtual conferences: in addition to regional meetings srai virtual conferences offer an inspiring curriculum to tackle the current and future challenges and responsibilities facing Research administration professionals. The programs are designed for members to build their own agenda and with the flexibility to take breaks between virtual sessions.
Other program activity
The Society publishes the journal of Research administration and a monthly newsletter, the catalyst. The journal is the premier academic, peer-reviewed publication in the field of Research administration and management, published twice a year. The catalyst recognizes members achievements, provides a space to learn about functions and people, and features insights from top professionals.
