Program areas at Society of St Vincent de Paul Exeter
Food Pantry: Provided emergency food for 3,323 client household visits sufficient for 204,442 meals. Includes dedicated senior pantry sessions, delivery to home-bound seniors and increased pantry sessions for families with school aged children during the summer months. SVdP Exeter offers emergency food to low income individuals and families who are residents of Exeter, Stratham, Newfields, Brentwood, Kensington and East Kingston on a weekly basis. Items available are housed on our shelves, in coolers and freezers including fresh vegetables, milk, butter, eggs, bread and pastries, large meat selection, non-perishable packaged items and personal care items. The pantry has both daytime and evening sessions. SVdP Exeter was the first pantry in NH to be named a Gold Certified Nutrition Pantry.
In-Kind Client Aid (New Clothing): Provided over 10,000 new articles of clothing distributed to client households and other charitable organizations as result of the in-kind clothing donation.
Rent & Utility Assistance: Provided rent and utility assistance to numerous clients on an emergency basis.
