The SWS Annual Meeting 2022 was held as part of the Joint Aquatic Sciences Meeting (JASM) in Grand Rapids, Michigan where the Society had opportunities to present their work as one of nine societies that participated in the JASM.

Program areas at Society of Wetland Scientists

The sws annual meetings provides sws members with opportunities to present their work, learn from others and network with fellow scientist.
Sws memberships provide members with meaningful resources that promote Wetland research, education, conservation, and restoration, globally. Membership includes complimentary monthly webinars, full access to the wetlands journal and the ability to apply or be nominated for awards and grants.
Wetlands is an international journal concerned with all aspects of wetlands biology, ecology, hydrology, water chemistry, soil and sediment characteristics, management, education, legislation, cultural, sociology, and regulations. The journal's goal is centralizing the publication of pioneering wetlands work that has never been done or otherwise been spread among a myriad of journals.
