Donor Fund Grantmaking ProgramsSCF's main goal is to meet the needs of our donors and community through foundation programs and donor fund grantmaking. We help them meet their particular philanthropic goals, maximize their investment, and achieve the highest tax savings. We work with individuals, groups, businesses, and organizations to establish endowed or non-endowed funds. Our donor funds make grants to qualified nonprofits whose missions and activities match funder philanthropic interests, and award scholarships to schools to provide financial support for student recipients. Donor Funds make competitive and noncompetive grant awards, and span a variety of different program interest areas.
Education Plus! Program Fund -- EDPLGrants from our Education Plus! Fund support schools, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations who are addressing reading and math competency disparities in K-12 Solano schools, through the promotion of activities and programs that engage and motivate students, help prepare them for employment opportunities, and mentoring leadership programs for our youth.
Solano Disaster Relief Fund Grant Program--SDRFDisaster Relief Grants support Nonprofit partners who provide relief and recovery efforts for those affected by disasters in Solano County. Grants from this Fund help nonprofit and faith-based organizations provide direct relief services, access to resources, and financial assistance to individuals and families impacted by wildfires, poor air quality, flooding, and other disasters in Solano County.
