Annual conference: the annual conference provides a comprehensive Solid Waste operations safety training course which covers topics of safety tactics for the mix of heavy equipment, traffic and Waste issues faced at Waste facilities.
Manager of landfill operations (molo): to provide professionals involved in the management of msw landfills with the basic information to run a successful operation. This 3-day course consists of presentations by swana certified landfill instructors, classroom exercises, case studies, a half- day tour and field exercise at a local landfill.
The Colorado rocky mountain chapter for swana hosted a three day manager of landfill operations (molo) course. It provided attendees with crucial foundational, strategic, technical and managerial skills necessary for Solid Waste professionals through in-person training and a molo course manual.
