Program areas at Solomon Knights Templar Order
2023 was a very busy year but we faced serious financial restraints as our income was down due to the harsh economic climate facing people through the year. However, we maintained and, in some cases, expanded our activities. Humanitarian Rapid Response facility We upgraded and improved our facilities of our rapid response humanitarian mission in Missouri. The facility was greatly improved as was our training methods for the volunteers in medical procedures and rescue techniques in natural disasters. This gives us a greater capacity to serve the American public in crisis events across the country. We are looking at expanding this operation to Ohio and Texas next year if funds permit.Hub and chapter houseThe Organisation completed our distribution hub and Chapter house and have ran many free educational programmes in the facility covering Church History in the days of the Apostles, the Church fathers, the plight of the martyrs, Reformation and counter
PublicationsDuring 2023 we commissioned several reprints of our books as well as a 50,000-print run of our annual report and a further 50,000 print rum of our Templar History brochure. We had planned to release part two of our Templar history book, but financial constraints prohibited this project and we have pushed this back until next year when we hope the economic climate will have improved. Our Ukraine mission of mercy our reach continued with several humanitarian programmes being completed. We supplied baby formula, clothing and cooking stoves to both west and east Ukraine under very difficult circumstances and danger. We also ran a soft to collection and distribution mission at Christmas for the displaced children in various centres in Ukraine and over the border in Northern Hungary.

operation to make it easier for older, less IT savvy people to operate, and this has been a real challenge but a great blessing to our older members. The engagement is up substantially and many older and vulnerable people find this service a very important support mechanism especially during the winter months. We have also greatly expanded our chat room facilities so our members can interact on a regular basis. We have many different activities included on the platform including a prayer room, activist room, event notifications and general chat. Again, this has proved to be very successful and we hope to continue expanding and improving this free service.
reformation, the great American awakening of the 18th century and the impact on the Church of the Volstead act of 1919. Our free education courses will continue as they have proved very helpful in giving Christians a wide bases to expand the private studies many are already engaged in. Ancaster research and historical tours of IrelandIn June, September and late October we organised educational tours of Ireland north and south where we rediscovered the rich heritage many American share with Ireland. On site there are many homes from Pennsylvania and Virginia that have been reconstructed there as well as the old Irish cottages so many of our peoples ancestors left to travel to America between 1700 and 1860 .We visited the ancestral homes of Stonewall Jackson very close to Ulysses Grant and several homes of the 14 men from Ireland who served as
presidents of the USA. The tours also took in many Churches including Down Cathedral where the graves of St Patrick, St Bridget and St Columba are located as well as several Catholic and Protestant rural Churches to explore difference in design and construction as well as the various practises of each denomination. Members also followed up their own personal explorations of tracking down ancestral roots . We finished each trip by hosting a grand ball with live music that everyone greatly appreciated and enjoyed. Such was the success of these trips we plan to roll out more next year conditions permitting.Broadcasting operationsAgain, we expanded our free daily broadcasting service adding a Sunday Service to the platform from our own Magdalene Chapel, part of our St Donard priory. This remains small at the moment, but we have been offered some advertising on several religious stations across America. In 2023 we successfully simplified our broadcasting
