What we do:the fundraising efforts of the Somc Development Foundation are to help support health initiatives at southern Ohio medical center. Support ranges from the purchase of new equipment, upgrades in technology, and enhancing facilities as well as other projects that enable Somc to respond to needs as they arise.we're here to make a difference in our community by enhancing healthcare services. We provide much needed resources that will help sustain the health care needs of community members.supported projects: cell phone charging station for heart and vascular lobby shawnee Ohio river playground & fitness area recumbent cross trainer bike for cardiac rehab recumbent cross trainer bikes for portsmouth and wheelersburg life centers bicycle racks for lucasville and wheelersburg life centers life vests for heart and vascular patients support of local camp for juvenile diabetes patients, educational bears, travel kits for schools, and books for the Somc community health library. Personal hygiene items and toiletry bags for local studentsguilds of somc:the guilds at southern Ohio medical center share a common goal - to support the needs of the patients, as well as the hospital's beneficial programs through fundraising efforts. They didn't set any fundraising goals for fy 2022 due to covid. However, they has still strived to serve in as many ways a possible. The guilds operate to advance the mission of Somc. The men and women of Somc's guilds are truly extraordinary individuals who make a difference for the Somc patients, families and staff of southern Ohio medical center. This year, the support of the guilds allowed Somc to purchase items, such as abr hearing system, hemmorrahage cart, eye spot vision scanners , vein probe, oral thermometer, pulseoximeter, disp stethoscope and, wheelchair. They also made donations to the hospice house, maternity, ob, and pediatrics. Somc is supported by a total of six guilds: the hope guild, the kardiaguild, the pediatric guild, the pleasure guild, the scioto guild, and the service guilds of Somc with a total of 83 members.revenue from guild activity: $75,824donations made: $64,977
