Lobbying: Somos Accion will engage in lobbying for or against specific legislation and administrative policies within the state of new mexico and elsewhere. Somos Accion will lobby on issues and policies that impact the common good and welfare of low-income immigrants, workers, and voters. Voter education: Somos Accion will raise issue awareness among voters by providing information on ballot initiatives, legislation, voting records of elected officials, and candidate platforms regarding employment rights, civil rights, human rights, voting protections, economic development and jobs. Nonpartisan voter registration and voter engagement: Somos Accion will register voters and contact them with information on how and where to vote.
