Sonia Corina, Inc. dba bay respite care provides non-medical in-home respite care for people with developmental disabilities, an illness, a physical disability or impairement that requires care in the home. This gives family members a break from the unique demands of caring for someone who is disabled or are disabled themselves. Bay respite care offers two services: #1 full service respite and #2 self-servicerespite. With full service respite bay respite care recruits, trains,hires and supervises the workers. Bay respite care does home visits with new families to connect the workers and families for the best possible match. With self-service respite, the family already has a person to watch a loved one. Bay respite care hires the workers for the family and manages all associated paperwork and taxes for the respite care provider and the family. The family is responsible for finding their own rcps.it may be a friend, neighbor, sibling, or whomever they wish so long as the potential rcp meets hiring requirements.
