Soul Trak Outdoors aims to connect communities of color to outdoor spaces through a variety of hands-on, experiential programming while building a coalition of diverse outdoor leaders. The Youth Adventure Cohort offers 6 weekly outdoor programming sessions for children between the ages of 11-14, initiating their bonding experience as rising outdoor enthusiasts. The Environmental Leadership Cohort (ELC) is comprised of leaders from the greater DC Metro area and actively serves the environment.

Program areas at Soul Trak Outdoors

The Environmental Leadership Cohort (ELC) will be comprised of leaders from the greater DC Metro area, representing a wide variety of environ mental interests and a diverse range of personal and professional back grounds. This cohort will actively serve a 12-month commitment focusing on stewardship initiatives, community organizing, and leader ship development.
Soul Trak Community Programming is designed to use the outdoors and its many activities as a setting to promote engagement, push boundaries, educate its participants, and strengthen the community. Soul Trak welcomes individuals from all walks of life and levels of outdoor experience. From novices to experts, this is a setting for any one looking to learn, teach, and connect with others in the outdoors.
The Youth Adventure Cohort is a Spring and Fall program series where children between the ages of 11-14 engage in 6 weekly outdoor programming sessions. The Youth Program is a great opportunity to initiate their bonding experience as rising outdoor enthusiasts and further their learning around leadership, sustainability, and outdoor recreational activities that promote teamwork, and skill building, and expand our tolerance for adversity.
The Soul Trak Student Ambassador Program is a Year-long environmental cohort for students at Howard University.
