Program areas at Soulrapha
Since 2003 SoulRapha has improved the well-being of thousands of aging care residents through in-person visitation. When Covid-19 started, and aging care facilities locked their doors, it forced a pivot in service to continue our mission. In December 2020, we launched customized virtual content to our 50 facility partners representing 4000 senior residents. We offer media programming that includes holistic content to support socialization and spirituality for residents. Our content specifically speaks to residents and offers an opportunity for them to respond via contemporary technology and virtual tools. Our top priority is to create a loving community for them and offer resources to mitigate the effects of social isolation and loneliness. In September 2021 we launched SOULutions by SoulRapha. We designed SOULutions to combine content and easy-to-use technology, administered by caregivers and volunteers, with the goal of enriching senior's lives, satisfying their spiritual needs, and ending senior isolation.
