The Sound Check Foundation exists to repair the relationship between education and underserved communities. Through strategic planning, cultural educational programming, event and fundraising, it aims to resource classrooms, develop educators and provide access to quality educational experiences. The Sound Check weekend served the community in a major way with the help of nearly 60 community volunteers and several partnerships and sponsorships. Over 3,500 people attended including nearly 1,000 middle school, high school, collegiate and professional individuals.
