Program areas at South Carolina Network of Children's Advocacy Centers
Directly funded all nca accredited cac's and provided necessary infrastructure to support organizational capacity and direct services for cac's. During 2023 worked with multidisciplinary team, state agencies, legislators, and others to increase cac state funding, updating the scncac development plan, launching statewide protocol traning, implementing a department of social services database integration, and setting a 3-year strategic plan to furhter build and improve the coordinated statewide response to child abuse. 17 primary & 11 satelite cac's served 46 counties in South Carolina. Thousands of children were helped by cac services & over 50,000 prevention services were provided in 2023.
