Program areas at South Dakota Association of Plumbing - Heating - Cooling Contractors

The apprenticeship program is one of the main functions of this organization. Member firms are provided services, training and materials to maintain quality & improved performance for apprentice tradesmen. An annual average of 120 apprentices are enrolled in the apprenticeship program in the Plumbing, sheet metal and hvac trades. Accomplishments: 1. Operation of the continuing education training program to help license holders comply with continuing education requirements. This served as the basis of a program that included approximately 2,500 license holders. 2.conducted events that included training on effective business practices, safety leadership training, health hazards, and general education for the profession.
