SOUTH DAKOTA SAFETY COUNCIL promotes unintentional injury prevention at work, home and on the road. It is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the people of South Dakota by reducing incidents, injuries and occupational illnesses from preventable causes. The council offers safety programs that include traffic training, occupational training, first aid/AED/CPR training, and motorcycle Safety courses. Recently, the 2021 South Dakota Safety & Health Conference was held on December 8th with 242 attendees.
