Program areas at Southeast Indiana Chamber Foundation
2021 Leadership Dearborn The SICF administers a leadership program focused on training local leaders to not only be better managers for their participating companies but most importantly be better community partners. The program is 10, 4-hour sessions over the course of the year. We generally have between 10-25 participants and the cost is $750 per participant. The financial goal of the program is to break even.
2021 COVID Phase 2 OCRA Grant Program The SICF administered grants on behalf of and Indiana OCRA Covid Phase 2 grant received by Dearborn County. The SICF acted as the secondary agent and we received the grant funds and immediately disbursed the entirety to local deserving businesses based on an application/approval process. No administrative fees were charged, no revenue was generated.
2021 Maverick Challenge The Maverick Challenge is a high school business plan competition hosted buy the SICF. It is run by volunteers (including SICF board members). The goal is to show local students all the opportunities here in SE Indiana in the hopes that they will start their careers and businesses locally.
