Description
The primary purpose of the regional Animal shelter is to promote responsible pet ownership to the citizens of the Southern barzoria County, Texas through the humane collection, care, treatment, detention and disposition of abandoned animals. To this purpose, a shelter is provided for the animals until they can be returned to their owner, adopted in proper homes or humanely euthanized. Programs are also provided to educate the public to spay/neuter their pets to reduce the overpopulation problem.
