Program areas at Southern Nevada Golf Association
To hold championship tournaments each year and events in Southern Nevada, including, but not limited to, amateur, senior, and junior events, the winners of which shall hold the titles of Southern Nevada amateur champion, Southern Nevada senior champion, and Southern Nevada junior champion, respectively, and to determine eligibility criteria for these events.
To establish a uniform system of handicapping, a Golf course rating service, and a handicap list for all playing members of member clubs of this corporation.
To foster national and international competition in the game of Golf, and to assist the united states Golf Association and other recognized Golf associations in the conduct of sectional, regional, national, and international competitions.
