Southwest Ga Youth Science and Technology provides Science, Technology, Engineering, Math Training to students in schools across Decatur, Miller, Calhoun, Grady, Baker, Early, Seminole, Mitchell and Thomas counties. School systems pay a membership fee for this purpose. The center supplements these programs through additional S.T.E.M. programs that are taught both in school classrooms and at the center property located on the Bainbridge campus.

Program areas at Southwest Ga Youth Science and Technology

The center accomplishes its exempt purpose through additional s.t.e.m. Programs which supplement those taught in the students' classrooms.programs are taught in school classrooms as well as at the center property which is located on the bainbridge campus of abraham baldwin agricultural college/southern regional technical college. The center accomplishes the delivery of these programs through the efforts of the center's executive director who is assisted by contract labor when required. The center's summer camp program aids the students who attend by keeping their skill sharp during the school break. The center offered stem summer camp, saturday Science, gear up field trips and other activities during the year. The center also provides teacher professional development training.
