Sow Much Good is committed to growing healthy communities by providing direct access to fresh affordable food, educating and engaging residentss to adopt healthy eating habits, and advocating for the right of every person to have real food security. The organization provides residents with nutrition education classes and cooking demonstrations free of charge. Also, the organiztion operates a farmer's market in an under-served area of charlotte, nc. Residents are able to purchase fresh, chemical-free affordable food and are able to use their ebt benefits as payment. The organization offers a csa program (farm fresh to go). The program is available to individuals who lack transportation or otherwise simply can't make it to the farmer's market. The program provides weekly produce, harvested from smg's farm sites, for customers to pick-up or have delivered to their home weekly.
