Operate and maintain Twillman House Community Center for stake holder meetings on Neighborhood Watch, Property and Code Enforcement committee, Youth and Family Council, Community Development Corporation assistance, and as a gathering place for private and community events.
Participate in community committee working to enhance youth services and youth activities; Jointly sponsor community service fair in conjunction with committee and county government; Support lower income individuals with Free Tax Preparation and Filing through the IRS VITA Tax assistance program. Participation and effort includes many volunteer hours that are not reflected in dollars.
Work to improve quality of life and sense of community through continuous care of community garden and Property Enhancement activities. Conduct electronics and paper recycling events. Support community art installations at garden, hold Town Hall meetings to discuss issues and distribute information on a variety of issues, publish an Association Newsletter to provide information and encourage participation of individuals and businesses; support efforts to save the natural beauty surrounding the confluence of Mississippi and Missouri rivers. Participation and effort includes many volunteer hours that are not reflected in dollars.
