Program areas at SEED

Spark Northwest provided technical assistance to support clean energy projects valued at over $6.6 million in communities highly impacted by social and economic injustice. Spark Northwest also educated over 1,000 people about efficient heat pump technology and, as a result, 175 families pursued installations of low- or no-cost heat pumps. Over 50% of people in these programs were Black, Indigenous, people of color or low wealth. On the advocacy front, Spark Northwest supported community resilience hubs in Oregon and an innovative energy ambassador program in Washington.
