Description
Spark the Wave trains teens to become community service leaders through Wave Week, a one-week camp held at Villanova University where volunteer staff delegates work on presentation skills, leadership development, and volunteer management. The camp served 160 youth. Additionally, Spark the Wave conducts leadership seminars throughout the year at Our Lady of Good Counsel and DeMatha High School in Washington, DC.

Program areas at Spark the Wave

Wave Week camp held two separate weeks at Villanova University outside of Phitadelphia. Wave Weeks are one week long camps led by volunteer staff. Delegates work on presentation skills, leadership development, and volunteer management. In addition, delegates bring back-to-school supplies and clothing to donate to a local charities. Served 265 youth July 9-14 at Villanova University and July 23-28 at Georgetown University
