Program areas at Species360
Our 2022 operations focused on supporting scientific, educational, welfare, and conservation initiatives. These initiatives include the continued development of new zims features and modules, maintenance of the zims software, and support of our more than 1,300 members with technical advice, training services and membership benefits. Our conservation science alliance team develops critical related science and supports other reseachers with data and analytical services. In 2022 we increased the number of members by 60, increasing the impact of global collaboration through information collection and sharing. At the end of 2022, Species360 expanded its mission to include records keeping and data collection for botanical gardens and related botanical organizations. The new solution, hortis, was acquired in december 2022. Growing the revenue and adoption of this tool will be an organization priority for the next several years.
