Smcc continues to be a leading provider of sti, hepatitis c, hiv treatment (u=u) and hiv prevention (prep-pep) services in maricopa county and the state of Arizona. 2022 accomplishments include: expanding our community outreach efforts to increase and expand access to free hiv, sti and hcv testing to ensure more people know their status; growing our lgbtq+ primary Care presence through targeted marketing efforts to better represent and connect with our patient base; funding fellow cbo's in an effort to help eradicate the hiv/aids epidemic and increase the use of prep in the lgbtqia+ community via the glen spencer ending the hiv epidemic fund; expansion of community partnerships to foster collaboration in reaching at-risk populations in maricopa county.
