Program areas at Spokane Center for Independent Living
Assistance is provided to persons who are willing and able to move into a more Independent Living situation in the community. Spokane Center for Independent Living provides a transitional program that is designed to assist individuals residing in institutional Living situations transfer to a more Independent, less restrictive community-based setting. A qualified Independent Living services case worker will work one-on-one with you, exploring options to help you find the right Independent Living situation for a successful transition. In addition, the case worker will assess you healthcare requirements to ensure continuity of care is maintained.
Provides outreach services to persons who are diagnosed with hiv or aids and who are low-income and need short- or long-term housing, and who reside in one of the twenty counties of eastern Washington. Utility deposits are provided for participants who can show just cause for the need of utility financial assistance, transportation assistance as well.
