Program areas at Sportsman's Alliance of Maine
To promote field sports, shooting sports, wildlife conservation and scientific wildlife management practices through literature, films, the press, television, radio, events, fairs and the Sportsman's show.
Veteran program - provide a hunt for veterans and first responders. Raise funds by selling merchandise and hosting a handful of bbq's for donations.
Outdoor education center - provide a place for schools/classes/4-h/ifw, etc. To teach outdoor activities at no cost to the groups. Fishing, archery education, firearm education, trail walking, camping.
Aroostock county conservation association - in an effort to end loss of habitat, the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine has spearheaded initiatives to restore deer habitat in Maine.
