Scholarships: this program is for current cha residents, listed on a cha lease, and enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution. In 2021, a total of 183 scholarships valued at $1,000 each were awarded based on each applicant's academic merit, community involvemenet, and essay content.
Summer programs: documentary film making: high school girls use film as a medium for collaborative learning and team building while producing and directing short documentary films. Game & graphic design: high school students develop their creative voices To effect change and introduce ideas To others, utilizing journaling, creating graphic designs, games, and interactive experiences.screenwriting 101: high school students develop skills To write screenplays designed for television or digital streaming platforms, focusing on format, visual writing styles, scene craft, story structure, character development and dialogue.photography: cha youth were given a prosumer-level camera and led through a number of technical and creative exercises in order To provide a base for a potential career in photography. In addition, they were guided on how To use visual imagery as a form of story telling and self-expression.
Senior gala: annual holiday party for cha seniors featuring food and entertainment.
