Legislative advocacy - the Chamber serves as the voice of the Springfield Area business interests, working to ensure that local, state and federal lawmakers are aware of the issues that are important to our members and that government decisions at every level support a strong regional business climate and quality economic growth.
Economic development - in 2023, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce continued to place a priority on regional economic sustainability. As a result, the Chamber continued its focus on economic and workforce development and strengthening the positive business climate for the Springfield Area through programs like the existing business support program which helped existing businesses grow, overcome challenges and discover new economic opportunities.
Business exposure and networking - through networking events (including good morning, Springfield! ; business after hours events; business to business connection events), business referrals and a variety of marketing options, the Chamber provides the best opportunity for business owners and professionals to network with their peers, develop business connections and elevate their companies' images in our community.
