Square Pegs Learning Center uses the principles of applied behavior analysis (aba) and all staff members are certified through the behavior analyst certification board (bacb) as a board certified behavior analyst (bcba), board certified assistant behavior analyst (bcaba), or registered behavior technician (rbt). Aba has long been considered the most effective and scientifically validated approach for teaching individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. At splc we use aba and research based strategies of aba with effective teaching techniques such as individual gap/deficit driven instruction, resulting in improved academic and behavioral outcomes for students.
