The Shine School Feeding initiative has positively impacted the lives of 200 children and 16 school staff over the course of 135 days, providing a total of 58,320 meals. The nutritional support includes a wholesome breakfast consisting of corn porridge made in milk, accompanied by fruit, and a nutritious lunch featuring posho with beans and vegetables. To facilitate this program, essential food items were procured, including 3,780 kgs of maize, 800 kgs of beans, 100 liters of cooking oil, 800 liters of milk, 400 loaves of bread, and a variety of vegetables, spices, and bananas totaling 1,900. This well-rounded meal plan not only contributes to the children's daily nutritional needs but also aims to enhance their overall health. The positive impact extends beyond the physical well-being of the children, as evidenced by the motivated parents actively sending their children to Shine School. Remarkably, school attendance reports indicate a significant reduction in absenteeism, pointing to the success of the feeding program in fostering a conducive learning environment.Furthermore, there is clear evidence of improved learning outcomes among the children, reflecting the effectiveness of the school feeding program in enhancing educational experiences. The holistic approach to addressing both nutritional and educational needs underscores the comprehensive impact of the Shine School Feeding initiative, ultimately contributing to the well-being and development of the participating children.
