Cardinal Glennon also operates numerous close to home locations in the blstate area bringing the excellence of the medical center's care to your community. The Hospital also operates two locations of the danis pediatric center, which provides outpatient pediatric primary care services to newborns through 18 years of age and provide services from well-baby visits to checkups and physicals. The center also provide diagnostic services and second opinions for complex cases referred by community pediatricians and family practitioners. Our innovative pediatrics practice is designed best care and service available for your child in all aspects of pediatrics (physical mental and emotional health) from infancy through adolescence. Cardinal Glennon specializes in neonatology, cardiology, pediatric and fetal surgery, and cancer services. Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is home to the bob costas cancer center, where world-class expertise allows us to offer the latest in innovative and investigational treatments for children. The day Hospital at the bob costas cancer center provides a comfortable setting for children to receive ongoing treatments, such as chemotherapy, transfusions, or other drug treatment, without being admitted to the Hospital. Children can also undergo minor procedures under sedation in the comfort of the day Hospital. Comforts such as the day Hospital allow children to spend more time at home or school, continuing their daily routine and keeping life as normal as possible. The Hospital also operates the knights of columbus developmental center which provides comprehensive care for children with developmental disorders. A multl disciplinary team provides ongoing support to help children reach their highest potential, including evaluation, treatment and care, family guidance and innovative research. The center works with a variety of pediatric patients, including those with adhd, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, language and social delay, intellectual disabilities, and genetic syndromes with behavioral or developmental impact.
