St Abraham's Classical Christian Academy

St. Abraham's Classical Christian Academy was founded in 2009 in santa cruz, ca. It was founded by families who wanted to create a distinctive Christian and Classical education for their children, one that valued parent involvement and responsibilities in partnership with their school. With fairly humble beginnings, the school has expanded to serve over 100 to date. *** continued on schedule o ***in our program, we seek to mentor students as disciples of the lord jesus christ, being members of households who are professing christians. We partner with families committed to orthodox and biblical local churches. We believe the purpose of education is to cultivate virtue in the soul of the student, rather than to merely get students into college or some other utilitarian end. We believe this is best accomplished in a Christian context and a biblical framework that allows the soul to reflect upon the "good, the true, and the beautiful." This is accomplished through the disciplines of the liberal arts, forming habits of virtue in christ, for the glory of god. What does success look like for us? It is graduating students who love god, form christ-likeness in all areas, and are equipped with wisdom and eloquence to lead others and impact their culture for the glory and the kingdom of the triune god.
