Member services - residential division - provided programs for Realtors that promoted their professional endeavors including newsletters, web site services, industry recognition awards, acting as a media industry liaison, leadership development, networking gatherings, dei programs and public relations. Over 8,000 members served.
Advocacy services - monitored legislative policy issues that directly impacted the real estate industry and property ownership rights. Over 8,000 members served.
Educational and professional development services - provided members and licensees with opportunities and services to enrich their knowledge of real estate, which is required by law. Also provided optional professional development and enrichment opportunities. Over 6,000 members and licensees served. Licensees are on a two-year cycle where the bulk of continuing education is done in the even-numbered year.
Realtor governance and policy - designed to promote ethics and high professional standards by members for the public and fellow real estate professionals. Also provided mediation and arbitration services to settle disputes arising out of real estate transactions in accordance with the realtor code of ethics. Over 8,000 members served.
Member services - commercial division - provided various services to over 600 commercial Realtors including technical services, education, legislative, arbitration, mediation and dei programs. Also provided awards and recognition in the commercial real estate area as well as promoting communication, high ethical standards and networking among commercial Realtors. Also provided newsletters and social media services.
